Zynga Preparing for $1 Billion IPO
Gaming giant Zynga is looking forward to raise capital from IPO of $1 Billion and this has come as a big news. In a file submitted to SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), Zynga has published its annual reports stating:

- Creation of 38,000 virtual games every second
- 60 Million daily active users
- 2 Billion minutes of gameplay every day
- 1.5$ billion in bookings in its four years of business
These are seriously big numbers. The decision to raise capital through public offerings is no surprise as Zynga is looking to develop further. In a letter, CEO Mark Pincus said, “we’ll not only be investing in “servers, data centers and other infrastructure so players’ farms, cities, islands, airplanes, triple words and empires can be available on all their devices in an instant, but we’ll also continue to fund the best teams around the world to build the most accessible, social and fun games.”
